Hmmm... OS9 was an operating system that ran on Motorola 6809 processors. I used to run it on a Coco III. The echo seems to have dropped off the backbone. Microware also had a variant that ran on 680x0 processors called OS-9000 (as far as I recall). At one point, there was a rumour that Microware was suing Apple over their use of the OS9 name.
