The *only* thing I didn't check was the fact that I was trying to open a REP 
packet.  Oops.
I then spotted the line in the message window that says "replies you have 
written."
So that's how it's done...

And MM is working 100%.

BTW, MM seems to work fine with or without these switches.  I put them in as 
you outlined below, 
and I just have 2 more teeny questions - 

1) What does a "path to junk file" mean?
2)  What does the "> NUL" switch do?
