Can you foresee any problems with the above You'd know better than I, since apparently you've disassembled it, and I haven't. Without disassembling it myself, which I don't plan to do, I have no idea what the above even says. Not that I haven't done this sort of thing in the past, myself. But since MultiMail is open source, if anyone wants to modify it, I recommend just changing the source and recompiling it. Though I did notice that you're using the XT version, and unfortunately that's the only one I've built with a compiler that's not freely available. The XT build is also, coincidentally, the only one with some manual assembly-level optimization; but only in the PDCurses library (not the MultiMail code per se), and only to deal a little better with CGA. (It will work if you build it with the standard PDCurses library, but will either have snow or be slower on a CGA system.) KH> (or, with compressing MM.EXE with PKLITE 1.5) ? It's got an overlay, which sometimes is a problem with executable compressors. But if it works, it works. I think I tried it with LZEXE, myself, and it worked OK until it tried to shell out. That might've been only with swapping on; I don't remember for sure. (I'm not really even sure it was LZEXE, but that's what I normally use(d) on DOS stuff.) .... WindowError:01B Illegal error.
