I never did get notepad to run with the BW reader, and believe me, I tried every which way from Sunday. Tried the "start /w notepad", added the full path, removed the fullpath, fiddled some more, and then went to a DOS prompt in Win98, typed in "start /w notepad", and it worked. So then I got to thinking, hmm, hmm some more, and then robooted the beast in MS-DOS mode, tried again, and no workie. Shucks. So I found another editor in one of the myriads of "other" OLRs I have taking up space on the harddrive (SLMR) and am using that. It has word-wrap! And I am so happy that now I can keep typing away, oblivoius to misspelled words (!) and not have to keep one eye on the monitor! And now I can stop bugging everyone!
