Standard function.  Press X for "X"tra info, and you'll see
any kludge lines that the message contains.

Perhaps... the reader hasn't been upgraded in something approaching

QWK does not use kludge lines.  Your message does have some
basic kludge lines, but that's because they were added by 
the software that moves the Fido mail.

QWK does not use kludge lines.  Maybe the QWK door being used
at Doc's Place does not strip any kludge lines that other (read:
compliant) software puts there.

BTW, the lines in question are preceeded by a Control-A
character.  Most modern offline mail readers understand 
and hide any line that starts with a Control-A.
