You'd see it in the message intro line BLW> were I to use Xpress and set it to use mm-dd-yy instead of just BLW> mm-dd. Strangely, the "BUG" date appears in the month field, BLW> rather than the year field, in the headers one sees when BLW> reading. I documented this in November, 1998. When I informed Hector of the issue, I was told that it was NOT a bug... it was a FEATURE and was working AS PLANNED. It took a year for Hector to understand that deviations from what is expected really IS a bug, even if he insisted that he couldn't tell the difference between the year "00" meaning 1900 or 2000. Yah.... right. Oh, and the moderator of the Silver Xpress echo almost had me ejected because I insisted that their precious software had a bug, not a feature. There is a fix to the reader that was released about Christmas 1999, that addresses the "BUG" thing. Check for Y2K details and links on my pages at: www.kannoncom.com/~jhanoian/readers/ ....
