MiniCom for Linux/*nix/BSD is quite nice for dialing in there is BTERM by the bbbs folks for most operating systems under the sun Then there is Datalink for Win32 by Brent Shellenberg In 1996 it was easier to find terminal programs, but they still can be found in 2001.
