Well,  the technology is open to good programmers to supply hassle-free
service to Mr & Mrs Average;    it's non-programmers with a ridiculous
view of reality that cause the problems....

My first and last trial of an Auckland ticket-booking system conducted
me down a series of choice-trees that was neat, logical and as clear as
a drunken descent down Colossal Caves  ....  triumphantly,  I made my
last button choice before getting to actually order the tickets I wanted
-- and was dumped offline.

I took in a report of my experience,  and was told I'd been as silly as
many other callers.....

Hopefully,  they've changed their system;  I shall never find out
myself...
