Yeah some are horrible, especially if you're unfamiliar with them.
some you need a map to navigate.

But I've used one that had a simple purpose that it dealt with well
It was a way to locate a justice of the peace (equiv: notary public?)
it just asked for a post code (which you type on the phone) and then
responded with three random picks from a computerised list of JPs
organised by post code (there were only two near me so the first and third
came out the same)
