I can get QWK files from another of the local BBS's where I'm
also a member, and I doubt whether this one will close in the
foreseeable future, since they have set up especially for
disabled users, and provide operating features that are not
available anywhere else.

But I prefer BW format packets for a number of reasons. Because
fewer and fewer boards have functional BW doors these days, I
have been connecting as a point with Binkley, and using Squish
and OMX to prepare my BW packets. It will continue to work well,
if I can find another BBS that does point.
