    I have been using the Bluewave (ver. 2.30) OLMR pgm even before
    the Y2K problewm.  And now there is a Y2K patch.

    Some time ago, I tried MultiMail briefly for one or two times.
    Since, as you say, MultiMail sorts messages by conference areas
    and THEN by ascending message number within the conference areas, 
    I may go back to the DOS version and try it again.
