Subj : QWKE or BlueWave To : GREG MAYMAN From : SHANNON TALLEY Date : Tue Oct 31 2000 03:43 am Sorry to but in.... I "just" re-opened my BBS after it has been down for about a year. I invested some significant funds into ensuring that it is "up-to-date". I have been considering gating my mail to newsgroups, but - there are several "security" obsticals for me to overcome first. I want to make "sure" that users don't spam like they do in newsgroups. However, I do have QWK via HTML. It's a pretty neat setup. After selecting the fido conferences you want, you click "Download" QWK file on an HTML link, and it will compress a QWK packet and attach it to an Email on the board, which you can d/l from the inbox, OR POP. If you or someone you know is looking for a simple place to get a QWK file, this is definitely it...
