Subj : Can't open packet w/MMail To : LINDA PROULX From : MAX CHAMBERLAIN Date : Mon Aug 07 2000 03:14 pm LP> If there is a path statement add your zip path to it like: LP> PATH=C:\;E:\PKZIP Oh yes, I recall the format now. Rather than post individual replies to those who offered suggestions, let me offer a group "thank you" to all. The actual fix for my problem was to get away from the long file name in the path to Pkunzip. At the moment I'm running the DOS version of MMail because it seems to be just a bit zippier during those transitions from one function to another. Still have quite a bit of work to do with it, such as connecting with a spell checker and tagline manager. The editor selection is still up for grabs. I've taken a look at some that have been suggested, but so far I think I'll go with the one I know best and am very comfortable with-- OLXED, but only if I can get it to display the original colors and dual intensity levels. I know it can be done because I had it set up with an earlier version of MMail on the old machine. Thanks again, everyone. ....
