If it still WM> doesn't look right, you may have to wait for the UTF-8 version. I think I can accommodate you on the Russian packet, but I am a mere mortal dialling into a board. We have never tried a file attach from my account, so I can't say for certain if I'd send his modem on a dialling frenzy. I know, chances are it will just FTP you on ZMH, but I'd rather not PO the Sysop JIC. There are Russian specific echoes, and I doubt they are *not* on the backbone. You may look for RUSSIAN_TUTOR (Where I will repost this.) or something like Z2_RUSSIA. (I know I have that name wrong, but you get the idea?) What I will do, is forward a post to here, just for your immediate gratification. If you don't have access, I'll work on getting the packet I have already created to you. (I can simply upload it and have the sysop f'attach it, or inform him what I am doing.) For the record, when I installed a different distro, all my "shifting display" issues went away. The worst that happens now, is the ASCII welcome screen doesn't display while running under the CLI. WM> * Edit: Or use the commands from your followup post. Those look likely. WM> :-) Like most of Linux at this time, this flew *way* over my head. WM> (1:106/2000) .... The right side was blanking out of it's usual colour, and foillowing the message title as I scrolled up or down. I'll keep an eye on it if I can repeat it. --- Maximus 3.01 * Origin: -=-= Calgary Organization CDN (403) 242-3221 (1:134/77) .
