I don't see that here. What does "TempDir" in the MMAIL.RC say? (That's the 
only thing that determines the location of the temp files now.) How about 
"mmHomeDir"?

If you set HOME (and only that) to "C:\MMAIL", then TempDir and mmHomeDir 
will still be set to C:\MMAIL\MMAIL, which isn't what you want. You should 
use the environment variable MMAIL instead (i.e., "set MMAIL=c:\mmail"). 
("No more extra mmail directory" is only applicable in the context of using 
MMAIL, or no environment variable -- not when using HOME.)
