Druids are an ancient Gaulish And British order of priests, teachers of
religion, magicians or sorcerers.
Our only literary sources of knowledge are Pliny and the `Commentaries' of
Caesar which say that the Druid's rites were conducted in oak groves which
they considered sacred, they studed the stars and nature generally, they
believe in the transmigration of souls ---
They were also said to be borrowers of money...when they said would be
repaid in the life to come! :-)
