Subj : Catholic Witches? To : Rachel L. Akers From : Moebius Date : Thu Apr 05 2001 11:02 am The Moon was red, making Rachel L. Akers ask All, "Is this a bad sign?" RLA> Gidday All, RLA> It _seems_ that she is either a Catholic (ish) witch or at least has RLA> leanings in that direction. Problem is that I know of Catholic witches RLA> but not much about them. Or even if there are any similar X-ian RLA> witches out there... The bit below is from two recent exchanges in a RLA> mailing list that touched on the topic & just about trebbled my RLA> knowledge about this topic. RLA> Does anyone here have anything to add? I'd rather not be drowned in RLA> holy water next time I visit him... We had a go-round in NEW_AGE on the same subject, and the real sticking point was whether or not there was any truth to claims of being any kind of Judeo-Christian Witch. It got very hot in there, and I'm not interested in repeating it. Just to toss in my tuppence, It's impossible to be a "Christian Witch," as the two are diametrically opposed. I don't think I need go into specifics, as they've been hashed out here, too. Moebius ....
