Here and there, I'm sure. But let's not fall into exaggerated generalizations. > Read the following article - which Ray posted earlier - and tell me it > isn't happening. > (deleted for brevity) > -------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Need I say more? Yes, I saw the article. I'm quite sure that we can find a small percentage of Americans who think witches are the cause of all evil. But then again, there IS some truth to that perception, if you look at the fact that most of the organizations who support draconian and exaggerated environmental laws, tend to have a pagan-like view of the earth, as well as a pagan-like disdain of anything that disagrees with that view. Many of these American and United Nations organizations are abusing environmental legislation to steal land from people, based on liberal organizations that are basically Gaia-zealots. This is a global problem, because if it doesn't involve stealing land because of a freakin' owl, then it involves costly legislation based on a trumped-up fear of "global warming", even though there's no solid evidence for it, and on top of that, it often isn't scientists who make these determinations, but bureaucrats. So in a sense, the increasingly "paganized" view of earth that has become the darling of leftists, both in America as well as across the globe, truly IS a source of evil in the world. :-) But I wouldn't blame any kidnappings on the local witches. :-) > TH> As for "lack of understanding", I've seen PLENTY of that right here in > TH> this echo...where petty > TH> prejudices run wild against certain types of religious thought, where > TH> opinions have been quick > TH> but understanding BEHIND those opinions have been might slow.
