Thus I got to this echo and saw the story you reprinted. RLA> As we know, we see discrimination in some form or another almost What a great story. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Love to see it when snotty self centered people get their 'comeuppance', and in such a tactful way, sort of like looking them in the eye, smile broadly while you are sticking the "shiv" in their gut. (grin) To be a tad on topic, I became aware of the Wiccans when I used to do a talk show. My guest, a Priestess, was very fascinating in her explanations, that it really generated the phone calls, all positive, (none called her a wacko or any negative things). I wanted to follow up on it for my personal self but some terrible things got in my way for a few years, then I lost touch with the lady. She seemed to be with a group who was very open minded on many things and while religious, was not steeped in hard nosed dogma. She even mentioned that some practiced nudity. But one thing she cautioned me about was that there are some excellent Covens, and there are some bad ones (in our area) and warned me to be careful in my selection. Thus my question, while I know there are a certain amount of factions in some religions (Baptists are a good example), is there really that much difference within the Covens? How best then do you determine which you would want to belong to? Appreciate any enlightenment you can pass on to me. If you prefer not to reply in the echo, you could send it via email. wyoung@spacecenter.net Many thanks Walt * SFEMB 0.53.
