NetWare 5 with SP2 and later supports Net Address Translation, which allows you 
to "hide" your internal network behind your NW server. There's also some simple 
TCP/IP filters you can use for opening/closing specific ports.

It's not as good as a real firewall, but maybe it's enough for your needs?
