I've never seen this before. Allfix can use the Outlook Express mail spool as an Internet mailer and convert to inbound/outbound packets in fidonet technology. The other way round needs a gateway program. For example, you use Internet Rex as a gateway. You use the SMTP/POP3 server build in Internet Rex to connect with your Outlook Express: inbound POP3 = localhost:110 oubound SMTP = localhost:25 You use the gateway features in Internet Rex to connect with the FTN inbound/outbound spools. On your tosser you configure the gateway as a point from your main node number. That works fine for netmail/email. For echos/news you there is a util around that can read Squish echos and makes them available as NNTP news, so you can read it in Outlook Express or any other NNTP newsreaders.
