Try to look at the Novell BorderManager products.
If you need only firewall it's quite enough to have BorderManager Firewall
Services.
If you need just packet filtering feature (Network layer of OSI model), all
necesary modules are included in NetWare 4.11 or higher (load filtcfg).

Latest version of BorderManager can be run on NetWare 4.2 (4.11) or NetWare 5.x

YES, if you'll decide that paket filering is enough for you system security.
