However, the _bridge_ which linked the offices was a standard E1 - 2048 Kbps, point to point. Try sucking 70 * 400k disk image down that at the same time an see what happens. :-) I _did_ have one network which was ArcNet - but that particular segment had its own server to put boot images on, thankfully. Though even with *non* MS software, I find a 100 meg link a LE> bit slow when I'm digging thru my collection of graphics. :-) I think you'll find that comes down to processing/rendering problems, rather than network latency. I suck images from my server all the time over a 10 meg hub, and don't notive any difference to sucking them from the local disk. LE> ps.
