It's not really the servers which are a problem - it's upgrading the client 
which is a pain in the arse.

You mean find as in you don't know of any, or find as in you have to find the 
money to buy it?

If the former - Compaq's Smart Array controllers do exactly what you're after, 
and do it _damn_ well. They're expensive, though.

If the latter, I can't help you. :)
