Checking my archives, in Zone 1, no PCs based on uuencoded mail were ever upheld. OTOH, those sysops having problems with uuencoded traffic on specific systems were encouraged to find other routes. A couple of sysops were chastised for uuencoded messages in echomail when the echo rules do not allow for such but that had nothing to do with the *C structure. More the moderator as echogawd. There were also complaints about systems that truncated overly long uuencoded messages but again, no PCs were upheld. If you couldn't say it in 16K blocks, you were out of luck.
