 NOVELL AND FOUNDRY NETWORKS PARTNER TO
 ACCELERATE DELIVERY OF WEB CONTENT

San Jose, CA - August 8, 2000 - Foundry Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: FDRY), a 
leader in high-performance end-to-end switching and routing products today 
announced details of its strategic partnership with Novell, the leading 
provider of Net Services software, for the Novell Content Exchange Web 
acceleration service.

 NOVELL ACQUIRES JUSTON, INC.

PROVO, Utah - January 11, 2000 - Novell, Inc. (NASDAQ:NOVL) today announced its 
acquisition of JustOn, Inc. (www.juston.com), a premier provider of hosted 
Internet file sharing and publishing services. Through this acquisition, Novell 
acquires technology and expertise to address the Application Service Provider 
(ASP) market. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
