If only it were that simple. Unfortunately many sysops consider UUEncoding to be "encrypting". You and I know better, but some people just refuse to be reasonable. Well, public posting of UUE's doesn't seem to really be much of a problem even though I _have_ seen echoes where people have posted UUE's only to find that some people in the net can see it while other areas of the net can't. My experience with bounced UUE messages has been via routed NetMail. Mine have gotten bounced so many times that I don't even bother with it anymore. But that's okay. Fortunately there is a much more reliable and professionally run network which is now available to the masses which is more than happy to carry all the diagrams and binaries that I wish to send. [:) And I don't have to worry about someone arbitrarily deleting it on the way, I don't have to split it up to conform to some bizarre 150-line limit, and I don't have to beg some system operator to please make sure that he passes the file on to his user. [:))) Take care and TTYL. --- þþ Oy to the world! --- AdeptXBBS v1.11y (FREEWare/2) * Origin: Moote Pointe (1:244/140) .
