I installed Communicator 4.08 (CB16D408.EXE, 15MB) under Wins 3.1 & DOS 6.22 
and it runs fine. What version are you having problems with?

I use IE3 with Mail for backup & dialing purposes. IE4 was slow as a turtle and 
IE5 crashed repeatedly, so I un-installed them both <g>.

Most of my time Online is spent using Win95 and Communicator 4.73 with IE 5.01 
as a backup browser. I also am playing with Mozilla M16 which is sweet but 
unfinished and a bit slow, though it's getting better with each build.
