The hurricane Isobel gave me some in house time to hack at it until I found my ISP evidentally does't support (SSL) Secure Connections for Outgoing Server Settings when I changed my "When Available" selection to "Never" in my Mozilla 1.4. Comcast.net doesn't support Mozilla and I haven't had time to see if the same fix may work in Netscape 7.1 as yet. RZ>I had a similar problem when my isp changed its mail software, RZ>"account name" was changed to full email adress (username@...) RZ>instead of just the username and for some odd reason in pop/server RZ>settings the user name had to use "%" in place of "@" (name%...) (I kinda wondered if your ISP's programmer might be useing a French keyboard that doesn't provide some key inputs one generally sees on most M/S style keyboards 8-) Thanks for your reponse Renato.
