I don't know about BCD, but remember, your computer has a TIMER function that keeps track of the number of seconds that have elapsed since midnight. You can read this from QBasic with the command "PRINT TIMER" which will give the time in seconds to two decimal places. I didn't pursue the idea beyond doing a quick look at the difference between the last five digits of your two entries below. Assuming the last 4 digits are time in seconds, there is a difference of 200 between the two numbers. That's 3.3 minutes.
