    It isn't modesty Jan. I really don't understand what's wrong with the FTS 
nodelist. In its heyday it kept more than a million people in touch with each 
other. Even now we all depend on it for direct communication via the PSTN.

    It's just the truth. Anybody who has ever worn a *C hat has had to get to 
grips with his own segment of the nodelist. The present form is easy, 
understandable and widely used.
