Well, since "pop" has always been short for "popular music", I always thought that the "King Of Pop" was a misnomer, even now. Personally, I haven't listened to the radio since 1992 (I've got a great CD collection). There hasn't been anything released since then that I've liked-it's all pretty much white noise to me now. As for Phil Collins, he's been doing the pop thing for well over twenty years now so he's got to be doing something right.
