Hello, All.

My wife, myself and some friends went to a local bar and grill this week for 
some dinner.  While we were waiting for our dinner to be served, I was 
listening to the background music... and lo and behold, it was the "pop" 
channel (I think it was Muzak).

There were nothing but covers and more covers of songs... I heard a cover of 
Berlin's "Take My Breath Away" (which really sucked), a cover of Don Henley's 
"Boys of Summer" (which was horribly slaughtered) and a few other ones that I 
recognized but don't recall the names.

I felt it was a sonic assult (insult?) to hear this trash... can't anyone think 
of anything new anymore?

There's one of the main reasons I quit listening to mainstream music about 15 
years ago...
