The best metal concert(s) I've EVER been to was White Zombie!
The pit encompassed the entire friggin' place! It was UNsane!


Rob Zombie's solo act is SAD in comparison.
The dude fugged up.


Second to those concerts...the 1st TOOL concert I ever went to...
back when TOOL was Metal and not alternative, 
back in '94 at the Warfield in S.F.
Maynard and the band destroyed everyone!

Maynard became a spider on stage with his body contortions!
(the acid helped...both him and I)
The Music spiked my heart!

At the end I stood and screamed "SHOOT ME IN MY F**KING HEAD!" and 
Maynard pointed at me gunlike, and EVERYONE turned to look at me and 
then him...and then they all laughed and clapped! It was beauty!
Because everyone knew what I meant.

Third to those was seeing Marilyn Manson at a tiny club in S.F. (The 
Trocadero) before he and the band had any buzz whatsoever. They were 
supporting their first commercial album and I destroyed the tiny little 
pit (not meanly though, of course, I just "tamed it" to the point that 
everyone attacked ME!) and then at the end of the show I screamed 'F**K 
ME!" and M.M. walked slowly to the front and cut himself for me. It was 
pretty neat.

Forth best? Hmmm. When The Jesus Lizard played at the tiny Cattle Club 
in '96 and David Yow got down off the stage and hugged my and then I 
picked him up and threw him back at the stage (he's a tiny guy). Then he
stage dived a couple of songs later and was body surfing while trying to
kiss any guy under him...well, when it came MY turn I dropped him down 
and kissed him (no tongue) and then he went on his way. When he hit the 
stage again he exclaimed..."I think the bald guy likes me!"
(I had and have a shaved head) It was sweet!

I have more stories, but I'll wait till someone else offers.
