Subj : RADIO STATIONS To : Howie Coombe From : Nahum Wengrov Date : Sun Apr 18 2004 01:37 am .. Hello Howie, .. Adding on what David Duvall wrote to Howie Coombe, about RADIO STATIONS, on 15 Apr 04, 23:20 .. HC>> ... or maybe i am just HC>> surprised and disapointed in the lack of numbers of Contempory HC>> Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic or Judaic Music Stations, which i think HC>> would be a good thing in Americaright now. I broadcast over the Internet Jewish music every Wednsday Night 00:40-05:00 Israel Time. You need Winamp to listen to it and it is limited to up to 6 people at once. More details at http://www.geocities.com/novartza/Radio >> If it's bad to you, then don't listen to it. :) HC>> Good idea exept like all people with a social engineering aware brain HC>> and nannyish tendency's i am not worryed for me, i am worried for HC>> everybody else. DD> Well, if these people are offended by the DJ's/songs played on the radio, DD> why can't they also just turn to another station? There's plenty of DD> secular song lyrics on the radio that I think could offend people, whether DD> it's the content or profanity. I think the same goes for what DJ's might DD> say too. I'm not saying you're going to here really bad words on the DD> station all the time, but they might let things slide here and there. DD> Maybe more later at night perhaps? I think there is too much "Freedom of Speech" in this country (Israel). They used to "censor" here certain songs and not allow them to be aired on radio, or limit them to late-night hours. I'm afraid they stopped doing that long ago. .. - Thanks for reading this message, novartza at actcom dot co dot il .. .. ....You're assimilating independent George! .. --- ------------------------ GoldED+/W32 * Origin: Novartza IP Point System (2:400/300.633) .
