Subj : Bass To : jahmas From : David Duvall Date : Sat Feb 21 2004 11:27 am *** Quoting jahmas from a message to David Duvall *** ja> some little licks but there is a left hand damp that's like another ja> slap which allows for more "triplet" type cadences. It's almost like ja> drum rudiments. I'm notalways keen on video instruction but this one I don't think I've everheard of this before, but it sounds like a good idea or interesing to hear about doing triplets. It sounds similar to doing finger tapping for lead guitar/melody. Have you ever heard of the band called Infectious Grooves? I know of four albums and I have three of them which have the bassist Robert Trujillo (ex-Suicidal Tendencies, ex-Ozzy Osbourne's band, played w/ Jerry Cantrell and Black Label Society, now current Metallica lineup). It has some excellent bass playing. It's like metal, hardcore?, funk, rock. --- MirageNet HQ! * Origin: The InnerSpace BBS - 757-491-2322 - MirageNet HQ! (1:275/103) .
