This message dated 5-24 just got through. Since then much has happened:
the war in Kosovo has stopped, Little Rock saw the first fatal air
crash by a U.S. carrier in a couple years, and I went to a baseball
game with Bill Wise!

Well, for me that would be three strikes right there - Bush, stringless,
and fast food.

Now tell me where Granbury is. Also, tell me how the food compares with,
say, Los Dos Molinos. Maybe I have to take a special trip to Texas.

You'd be surprised. I've lost scads of time in the air over the years
to air traffic control problems, weather run-arounds, and last but not
least a blown approach to Dulles airport that forced us to get back
aloft and circle Washington for another half hour (this was on Eastern
Airlines back in the '70s).
