Well, it fixed the button shadow, but I'm still getting the "null" listings.  
However I don't really want the lines anyway so I've just turned the feature 
off.  What I'd relly like to get rid of is that albatross of an ancient origin 
line.  I've gone through every file I could find that even mentions filk, and I 
know I've not put it into the msged.cfg file, but as you can see below, it's 
still there... :(
