I first saw the Pythons on PBS, too. I think it was the Mr. Pithers sketch, the man who was bicycling across Britain. I was laughing like crazy, and my father came in to see what was so funny. We were both converted on the spot. Dad still tells that story. This would have been about 1977 or so, I guess. I was about 12 or so. A little later, a group of the local kids gathered in our backyard. We borrowed Dad's handkerchiefs and did the Gumby bit from the architect sketch. My mom always worried about the effect the Pythons had on us! ;) "Jimmy Largent" wrote in message news:iDqKe.3459$RZ2.1547@newsread3.news.atl.earthlink.net... > 72 or 73 I guess it was .
