Well Cleese is one of my comedy heroes, but I have to say I agree with you. I remember hearing him when I was about 14 on the radio in 'I'm sorry Ill read that again', then on into Python, then Fawlty Towers. There was the Policemans ball programs, and I loved Fish called Wanda. But he just is not funny any more. I saw him on Channel 4 a few months ago introducing one of those "100 best" programs (best grossing films I think). He did the inserts between clips, but he just wasn't funny. Is it an age thing, do people becomes less funny as they get older (not all of them of course, Groucho Marx to name but one).
