Apparently the other Pythons tried to veto Lowne's decision about dropping Shabby but Cleese switched sides so the cut went ahead. A version of the Flying Sheep sketch was also dropped by the producer, Victor Lownes for reasons of timing. Otherwise I'm not sure on cuts. The only other thing I can think of is the background music in Restaurant/Dirty Fork sketch which was Terry Jones' decision because he felt the music was taking out the comedy, but the sketch itself survived (thank God!)
