Subj : Re: The Instant Monty Python CD Collection Project To : Lisa From : grimm Date : Fri Oct 17 2003 10:30 am From: grimm There is one on there now for $25 that is missing one of the six CD's. He says it's mint and includes the book and original box etc.. Not a bad deal at that price since the CD that is missing contains Live at Drury Lane so you still get the other 7 full LP's. (Previous, Another, Matching, Grail, Contractual, Brian and Meaning). You shouldn't run into a problem burning these back to a CD-R if you do one LP to one CD since the LP's usually only ran about 40-60 minutes and a CD-R can record up to 80 minutes of audio. I'm with you on using kazaa to download songs that I already own in another format (LP or cassette). That's what I usually do but it just wasn't gonna happen with my MP collection. It would have been no problem if I just wanted to collect the "Best of" but I wanted the whole LP experience from start to finish so the Instant CD Collection was a perfect choice for me. I ended up having to leave ONE track off cos it didn't fit.
