Subj : Rescuer Alert To : All From : Thom LaCosta Date : Tue Aug 01 2000 04:41 pm Hello All! For those that feel inclined to interfere with the natural order of things...check the August Echolist to ascertain which echoes you can rescue. This time, when you rescue them, why not notify the moderator what you've done...and since you've simply rescued the echoes, you can forward the password along with the notification. This month several moderators attempted to update echoes that had been resucued, and had to contact the rescuer in question to get the password. Also please be advised that I am in the process of validating some of the echolist entires that appear to list moderators that are not at the addresses listed in the database, which means they don't get the warning messages. If you are a moderator of an echo that is updated by a third party and you do NOT have the password for the echo, it is strongly urged that you contact the Echolist Keeper.
