And it would seem more relevant to an echo about echo moderation, since it is the "echo" that transmits messages, while the individual BBS is only a channel that is used. With most BBS's now being internet-based rather than phone-line-based, the BBS aspect of it also sort of collapses into the broader subject of internet regulation. I've seen a couple of interesting articles on libel and defamation in on-line forums, but I haven't read up on it much yet. And I am tied up with other things for the next month or more, and won't be able to do much background research on it.
