Depends on who you ask..

I have used the names of Famous celebrities and politicians before to, all of 
which was a few keypresses in my reader, not tosser or mailer, which means the 
prank was easily detected and each one was.. :)

Either way, I did not log on to someone elses system to betray their trust.

Of course I am now catching flak for not having made new callers to the BBS 
jump through hoops, I am going to do that now, but it is sad that I have to..

None of which excuses anyone from doing what was done.

I could have had measures in place to restrict new users, that would have 
stopped him from getting those 4 messages out, it would not have mitigated the 
situation of him having logged on with the username he chose, all which were an 
attempt at mischief, measures in place or not, his intent was the same.
