I wasn't refering to any covenant alleged to exist between one
minor tribe of the human species and/or one (or more) of the
hypothetical anthropomophistic (and evidently rather quixotic)
superior being(s) that this species dreamed up a long time ago
to help explain away the then inexplicable.
