It wouldn't even be confusing to anyone who holds an interest for the first time. You subscribe to both and take it from there. The most active echo would probably be their choice after a few days of monitoring. With the shrinking of Fidonet, Amateur Radio interest in Fidonet is waning with it. Once there were echoes that covered nearly everything of interest to the Amateur community. I hold the TAGs to most of those dead echoes to discourage the idea of adding more echoes, when they can't be supported in the network. It's also easier for them to make the choice by having one or two echoes, HAM and AMATEUR_RADIO, with every topic of interest to Amateurs, on topic in both echoes. The previous moderator of HAM, for instance, excluded all discussion of Morse Code, Packet Radio and the Continuous Wave (CW) mode of operation because he didn't want to deal with it. That topic and all others are allowed under this moderator. .... 4 of 5 Sysops prefer donuts. The 5th demands wimmin... --- BogusMail Your Name Here - Free! * Origin: ** Moderator - HAM ** (1:10/22) .
