That depends at which point you made the cut, in the case you cite, your cut ended up cutting off the other distro system, I aint talking about that. But we are talking about individual echoes and even so, that other distro system does not carry echoes that others do, if you want to mince words. (Fidonet.org, M_S_R and many others) I assure you Jack, if you removed Whats_Hot /hypothetically/ from any hub in any distro system, it does not break the distro system. How the hubs propogate the echoes on the technical levels, ergo via a mesh or whatever, is not the moderators problem. I am merely commenting on your original assertion that a backbone hub refusing to carry an echo does not make him not a hub (anymore), because I compared the situation to another, which was the symptoms that could result from a voluntary removal of the echo versus the involuntary removal of the echo, the end result is the same. RC>> As we know this appears to be the case here. ^ JY> Actually, there doesn't appear to be any case at all. Typo, I meant to have the word "not" in there. == Ross BBS -> http://www.the-estar.com - telnet://the-estar.com rosscassell@mailshell.com | ICQ = 5305939 ....
