I do not take part in this echo. One of my users clued me into this message because of his concern so I felt I should address this message here. I will not carry on debating any point with anyone. That has nothing to do with this Chirnside person and has everything to do with Dan Ceppa. The decision will be based on feedback from users of my BBS. My BBS does not equal distribution of any echo. The only thing that I know about the POLITICS echo: It appears to be one of the most popular echoes with my downlinks. It appears to be a very popular echo with users of my BBS. I know nothing more about this echo including who the moderator is. If I were even considering removing the echo from my BBS the moderator would be aware of that fact. I suggest you ask the moderator if I have made any such comments to him/her. Let me check and see who the moderator is... Gary Braswell. Stan, Gary is a user of my BBS; he also uses a system that is a downlink of mine, 1:379/103. Gary has nothing to worry about with his echo on my BBS or being available to my downlinks. And if I were removing POLITICS from my BBS most certainly my users would be aware it. I would NEVER make such a move without first contacting my users asking for their input. To cut it from distribution would require me to first communicate with all the downlinks for the echo AND my users on the BBS.
