  That does not necessarily mean that proper TO: cannot be done.   I
  have seen several BBSes that allow NNTP posting that can handle
  getting the name of the person being replied to into the TO: field.
  Perhaps you should talk with the sysops there and see how they did it
  and correct what you are doing on your BBS.

  Are you making all of your posts using NNTP?  Some of your messages
  are coming out with a proper TO: field filled in.

  Try Shannon Talley at 1:275/311.   I don't believe that he is running
  NNTP now, but when he did it worked correctly.

  Another person who is currently running an NNTP access that does the
  right thing with the TO: field is Chris Kenward, bbs.fonix.org,
  2:252/171.

  What software are you using?  I don't know what either of the two
  sysops above are using, but think that Shannon is/was using some
  flavor of WildCat.
